How do you use the FlowFlex COVID-19 Self-Test?
This is how you do the corona test step by step:
Tip: Before using the test, we recommend that you blow your nose to draw out the nasal mucus. Wash your hands with soap and water or a hand sanitizer.
Step 1: Remove the aluminum foil from the top of the liquid vial. Place the tube in the tube holder.
Step 2: Open the package with the cotton swab on the end. Insert the tip of the swab into one nostril. Using a gentle twisting motion, push the swab within an inch of the edge of the nostril. Turn the swab five times and stroke it against the inside of the nostril. Remove the swab and place it in the other nostril and repeat. Remove the swab from the nostril.
Step 3: Insert the swab into the liquid tube and swirl for 30 seconds. Rotate the swab five times while squeezing the side of the tube. Remove the swab while squeezing the tube.
Step 4: Attach the dropper to the liquid tube. Mix by gently twisting the tube between your fingers and tapping the bottom of the tube. Do not shake the tube of liquid as this will cause air bubbles. Turn the tube over. Squeeze the tube gently and dispense four drops of the liquid into the sample well.
Step 5: Read the result when the timer has reached 15 to 30 minutes. Do not read the result after 30 minutes.
The result:
If two lines are visible, you are unfortunately positive. When only a line appears at the top. are you negative. The test has failed when no line is visible at the top.
What does the result of the FlowFlex COVID-19 Self-test mean?
The test result is positive . This means you probably have corona. Go into isolation and immediately make an appointment for a retest at the GGD. A self-test is less reliable than the test at the GGD test location. As a result, there is a chance that your positive result is a false alarm.
The test result is negative . This means you probably don't have corona. Pay attention! A negative result of a self-test is not 100% reliable. So stay careful and always follow the corona rules.
Is the test result not clear ? The test is then not valid, do a new test.
